ABOUT GIA
Gia is a full-time freelance and tattoo artist residing in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.
Her passion for art started at a young age when she began taking weekend art classes at FIT (The Fashion Institute of Technology) in the center of the fashion industries, midtown NYC. Eventually Gia committed herself as an Illustration major at the reputable Parsons New School of Design. After receiving her BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts), Gia perused her enthusiasm for art by seeking out a tattoo apprenticeship. In 2018, Gia found a home at State Street Tattoo and has been there ever since.
In addition to tattooing, Gia works as an illustrator. After suffering from a stroke in 2020, she began making portraits and botanical illustrations to keep her hands working through her recovery.
She draws inspiration from nature and the “golden age of illustration”. Whether personal or commercial, she is committed to making art that people can cherish.
